Let’s talk about hotel investments

The pandemic is a “stress test” for the entire hotel industry, which is experiencing an unprecedented change in ownership and management.
The renowned hotel brand Belmond has increased its presence in Italy.
The group owns and operates 8 hotels in Italy, with an estimated value of over half of the 1.3 billion euros for which Bernard Arnault bought the brand in 2018.
The Belmond brand was founded in 1976 and has been recognized with moderate luxury and superior hospitality ever since.                                                                                                                             The Belmond Group own a variety of famous hotels such as the Caruso in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast, the legendary Hotel Cipriani in Venice, the Villa San Michele in Florence, the Castello di Casole with 2,500 hectares of land, and the new Hotel Splendid in Portofino, which is about to open on May 1st.                                                                                                                                                   The unprecedented outbreak of Covid-19 allowed for more time to develop new strategies to expand the boundaries of luxury and explore new places of historical importance and beauty, such as the islands of Sardinia and ski resorts in the Alps.
The groups next investment was the Taverna in Puglia, a region of southern Italy where elegance and simplicity coexist, surrounded by magnificent landscapes, olive groves, and the turquoise sea.
During the pandemic, people wanted to travel. The post covid period implies an increase in requests for travel to new places, far from megacities where the beauty and uniqueness of nature are combined with comfort and refinement.
Hotel stays, and travel will no longer be the same prior to 2020.
The Belmond brand has implemented safety procedures for the comfort of customers. Various working programs have been developed to ensure tranquility and privacy, such as a picnic in the garden of Villa San Michele in Tuscany, watching movies on the beach under the stars in Sicily at Villa Sant Andrea, an unforgettable sailing trip on a yacht owned by the director Pasolini and Maria Callas on the Amalfi Coast.

So the tourist season is coming!
